**FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT**
CLIP is an intensive English language program for students who have been accepted to CUNY and who need to increase their academic English language proficiency in preparation for college classes. CLIP uses a sustained content-based approach with coursework centered on a theme and core texts. Instruction is designed to increase students’ English language skills as they broaden their overall background knowledge in topics that will prepare them for general education courses at CUNY. Classes meet 25 hours a week in day and evening sessions.
CLIP is operated collaboratively by the CUNY Office of Academic Affairs,and nine participating CUNY colleges: Borough of Manhattan Community College, Bronx Community College, College of Staten Island, Hostos Community College, Kingsborough Community College, LaGuardia Community College,New York City College of Technology, Queensborough ...
