YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD Invites applications for the position of: CUPE 2331 Supply Designated Early Childhood Educator $32.89 per hour Position Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the School Principal, and in collaboration with the classroom teacher, the Supply Designated Early Childhood Educator (DECE) supports the planning and implementation of the Kindergarten Curriculum to facilitate experiences that promote each child’s physical, cognitive, language, emotional, social and creative development and wellbeing. Major Responsibilities: Engage children through play based, age appropriate activities e.g. telling or reading stories, singing songs and demonstrating the use of simple musical instruments.
