Custodian - Afternoons

General Summary

Assists in day-to-day operations of the school district by providing custodial services. Work schedule may vary based on scheduled projects and may include various hours due to weather conditions.

Primary Duties

• Performs all custodial tasks including, but not limited to: dusting, sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing of floors, carpet extraction, window cleaning, wall cleaning, trash removal, cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms and specialized educational equipment, room set‑ups and assistance to outside groups, and exterior grounds cleaning as assigned
• Cleans up accidental and/or bodily fluids spills as needed
• Performs maintenance repair and improvement tasks including, but not limited to: painting, caulking, and light bulb changing
• Deliver receivables to teachers and/or staff
• Responsible for the sanitary condition of building facilities
