POSITION TYPE PART-TIME, CASUAL, EVENINGS

Job Purpose

  • The cleaner is responsible for performing cleaning, janitorial services and basic maintenance tasks of the properties under the direction and control of Neeginan Centre Inc.
  • The cleaner will ensure that the established cleaning schedules are followed according to the cleaning standards in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Evening shift work is required.

    • Duties and Responsibilities


    In consultation with the lead cleaner on shift, the cleaner will perform:

  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing, vacuuming in office spaces, washrooms and public areas

  • Empty trash receptacles and garbage containers

  • Maintain a clean and organized janitorial room

  • Replenish supplies in the janitor rooms and public spaces

  • Wash windows and glass surfaces

  • Clean elevators and door tracks

  • Change light bulbs – if safe ...
