Customs Agent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Customer Agent to join our Nottingham-based client. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating customs entries and submitting import/export documentation. You must also be able to work flexible shifts on a 4-on, 4-off working pattern.

£35,000-£40,000

The Role:

Prepare and submit import/export declarations using relevant systems, monitor their progress, and quickly resolve any queries or errors to ensure shipments stay on track.

Answer customs queries and coordinate and oversee multimodal transportation activities including air, sea & road.

Ensure all shipments meet regulatory requirements, including correct classification, valuation, origin, and the application of relevant duties and taxes.
