Data Governance specialist

5–10+ years of experience in Data Stewardship, Data Governance, or Data Management roles.

Strong understanding of data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness).

Experience working in Investment Banking / CIB / BFSI environments.

Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis.

Experience with enterprise data warehouses and reporting platforms.

Ability to work effectively with business, risk, finance, and technology stakeholders.

Strong documentation, communication, and control mindset.

Preferred / Good to Have

Exposure to risk, finance, trading, or regulatory datasets.

Experience with Power BI or analytics consumption layers.

Familiarity with data governance tools, metadata management, or MDM platforms.

Knowledge of SARB regulatory expectations or similar regulatory environments.

Experience working on Azure or cloud‑based data platforms.
