About the role
Our client, a Sydney-based critical infrastructure business, is hiring a Data Platform & Governance Lead to own delivery of two foundational programmes running in parallel: a Microsoft Purview implementation that establishes the organisation's information governance, PII, and DLP posture, and a Databricks-based enterprise data platform with Power BI reporting on top.
This is an outcome-ownership role, not a pure delivery-management appointment or a hands-on engineering-build role. You will own the outcome of both programmes, hold suppliers accountable for technical delivery, and drop in personally where your judgement and design instinct make the difference.
