An Insurtech start-up is looking for a Data Privacy & Compliance Specialist to join their team.
Your new role
As a Data Privacy & Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Establish and enhance a comprehensive data privacy governance framework across all Asian markets.
- Develop and maintain policies, privacy notices, and consent frameworks aligned with regional regulations.
- Conduct DPIAs, manage privacy risks, and ensure privacy-by-design in products and services.
- Oversee incident response, including data breaches, regulatory reporting, and DSAR handling.
- Manage third-party/vendor privacy compliance and act as liaison with regulators (e.g., PDPC).
- Implement data governance and support AI/ML governance, including classification, lineage, and responsible AI practices.
