Data Scientist Demand Planning

Role Overview

As Data Scientist (Demand Planning) , you will lead forecasting and data science capabilities within Coty’s demand planning organization, improving forecast accuracy while mentoring an in‑house analytics team. Your work will directly impact inventory, service levels, and planning performance across the business.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Demand Planning Lead and managing the following:
  • Technical leadership & forecasting models:
    • Lead improvement of forecasting algorithms and predictive models
    • Apply machine learning and AI techniques to demand planning use cases
    • Review model performance and identify improvement opportunities
    • Ensure robustness and scalability of forecasting solutions
  • Team leadership & people management:
    • Directly manage 4 in‑house Data Analysts
