Database Administrator
The Database Administrator in FNZ is technical in nature, and focuses on building, supporting and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases and reporting solutions. As part of the APAC Infrastructure team, the role will be responsible for the delivery of database support services to FNZ platforms and undertake SQL build and database management tasks as required. The role has optimization and database programming components as part of the custom FNZ platform development.
The responsibilities will include:
Design, build, maintain and upgrade database servers in-line with FNZ’s technology lifecycle and roadmap, to maximise performance and ensure the high availability requirements of FNZ’s environments are met.
Ensure databases are optimized through the implementation and monitoring of maintenance tasks.
Develop, manage and test backup and recovery solutions to ensure the availability of data and protect against data loss.
