Database Administrator

The DBA supports the resilience, performance, and operational integrity of Marex’s multi-platform database estate. Based in Singapore and reporting to the DBA Manager in London, the role is responsible for the administration, optimisation, and lifecycle management of databases that underpin critical systems. Working as part of a globally distributed DBA team, the individual will deliver high‑quality database support across Development, UAT, and Production environments.

A key focus is performance tuning and diagnosis, optimising SQL execution paths, managing capacity, and ensuring high‑availability configurations operate effectively in a 24/7 environment.

The role also contributes to maintenance, patching, upgrades, automation, and cross‑platform initiatives across database technologies, ensuring consistency, reliability, and alignment to best practices across the group.
