Our client in Edmonton is seeking a Database Application Analyst for an on-site role in Edmonton/ Fort Saskatchewan. This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity.
Responsibilities
Lead and support corporate IT projects involving database systems, including planning, implementation, configuration, upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements
Manage SQL Server databases, including performance optimization, backups, restores, security, updates, and data integrity
Analyze business needs, recommend system enhancements, prepare technical and business specifications, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
Develop, maintain, and enhance corporate applications, mapping solutions, websites, and custom in-house systems to support business operations
