We are looking for a DBA to assist a client with database optimization and stability, with a focus on the Ticket and FIT applications.
These databases experience high spikes in usage, especially at the end of the month, which can cause slowdowns or outages with a significant impact on the business. The goal is to ensure performance, availability, and operational continuity.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor and optimize database performance
Respond to peak load scenarios and critical incidents
Prevent failures and minimize business impact
Monitor and optimize database performance
Address incidents of slow performance or outages, especially during peak times
Analyze and improve queries and indexes
Ensure backups, restores, and service continuity
Support application teams in maintaining solution stability
