Introduction to role
You will be responsible for the daily management of the maintenance and operational shift team, reporting to you as instructed by the Duty Engineer. You will ensure that your shift team's daily duties/activities are carried out in a safe and effective manner, minimising the impact to the customer’s operations. As this position will be both shift and “hands on”, you will also be working within your assigned shift pattern on electrical, instrument, mechanical and control systems which involve the installation, modification, maintenance and repairs of all site Vanderlande equipment. You will take the lead on all technical recoveries/escalations when required providing technical updates to your management Team. Deputize when/if required covering Duty Engineer Role.
