Descale Operative £14.86 per hour, 4 on / 4 off, Monday – Thursday – no weekends. 12‑week temporary to permanent contract in Sheffield. 
Metalis are currently in partnership with a well‑established steel company based in Sheffield who are looking to hire Descale Packers on a 12‑week temporary to permanent basis. 
Roles and Responsibilities Coil strapping 
FLT driving 
Use of coil compactor and strapping tools 
Use of hydraulic and hand crop shears 
Coil grinding 
Data input into a computer 
Person Specification Experience working in a steel environment 
Experience with FLT’s 
Open to training opportunities 
Salary and Shifts 4 on / 4 off shift pattern 
£14.86 per hour; overtime available at enhanced rates 
Two day shifts and two night shifts 
No weekend work
