Job Description
As a Design Draftsperson, you will play a key role in the design and development of mechanical sampling systems and equipment. You will be responsible for preparing engineering calculations, concept designs, 3D modelling, general arrangements, and detailed designs, including minor structural work. You will also liaise with clients and suppliers regarding drawing issues and ensure all designs meet project and industry standards.
What you will be doing: 
Preparing arrangement and detailed drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D and the latest Inventor release for mechanical sampling projects.
Issuing accurate manufacturing drawings to fabricators.
Reviewing and checking drawings generated by others to ensure compliance with relevant standards and SGS/project specifications.
Using existing Inventor models from the SGS library to streamline the process from concept to detailed manufacturing drawings.
