Education Last Semester of Engineering, Textiles, Industrial Design, etc. (or other suitable technical degree preferred). None to 1year job related experience (Preferable) Technical Skills. Willing to develop ability on: # Seat Patterning - Able to complete seat patterns # Understanding and applying one or more basic problem-solving techniques (eg. BEP, Kepner-Tregoe, Six-Sigma, etc.) to help solve a real-world issue. # Knowledge of Manufacturing Process and requirements of a Trimcover # Understand and basic operating of seat equipment used in trim cover manufacturing (NC Cutter, Sewing Machines etc.) # Trim Cover Sewing # Safety Requirements within a trim cover # Standard components used within a trim cover. # Knowledge of Material specifications and guidelines(Cloth, Leather, Vynil,etc) # Understanding of 2 D component and product drawings. # Change management and BOM control # Proficiency in Trim cover development from a 2 D or 3 D information source(ie drawings or CAD). # Basic und...
