Job Description
Insight Global is looking to bring on a Design Engineer, to lead design efforts, supporting the designer of record (DOR) client of ours. The ideal candidate will take a lead role in the design, development, and modeling of electrical systems for diverse projects.
You will utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create high-quality construction documents, manage project timelines, and mentor junior staff, ensuring compliance with all NEC and safety standards from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Modeling: Develop, modify, and review complex 3D Revit models and 2D AutoCAD drawings for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
Engineering Calculations: Perform calculations, including load analysis, short-circuit calculations, voltage drop, arc flash hazard analysis, and breaker sizing.
Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and mechanical engineers to integrate ele...
