About The Role
Balfour Beatty Power T&D are currently looking for a Design Manager - Roads to join their business in Scotland.
Role Purpose
Manage delivery of Design on the Skye OHL and UGC projects. Working closely with commercial, production and engineering teams in both pre‑construction and construction stages.
What you'll be doing
Accountabilities
- Manage the development and implementation of design proposals ensuring they meet customer requirements including budget constraints, presenting proposals for approval to the customer. The design should deliver:
- Safety in construction and use
- Quality within affordable parameters
- Ease of maintenance, energy efficiency with minimum environmental impact
