Peace Health is seeking a Diabetes Educator - Endocrinology for a Part Time, 0.80 FTE, Day position.

The salary range is $44.11–$66.17 per hour. Hiring rate depends on education, training, work experience, collective bargaining agreement terms, seniority, etc. A hiring bonus may be available.

Essential Functions

• Collaboratively develops educational goals, learning objectives, and a plan for education content and teaching methods for program participants.
• Provides diabetes self‑management training to patients in the clinic or hospital setting.
• Develops an individualized follow‑up plan with each patient.
• Evaluates effectiveness of educational services by measuring attainment of learning objectives.
• Conducts a follow‑up assessment upon program completion.
• Documents patient care in the medical record according to standards.
• Participates in the development of training materials.
