The **UW Medical Center – Montlake Kidney/Dialysis Department** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Dialysis/Pheresis Technician.**
**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ Per Diem
+ Rotating/Variable Shifts
**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
+ Provide front-line dialysis and pheresis services
+ Prepare, assemble, operate, and monitor equipment used for dialysis and pheresis treatments
+ Prepare dialysis solutions and concentrates
+ Participate in quality control on dialysis equipment
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Assemble, prepare, prime, and preset dialysis and pheresis equipment and materials in the dialysis lab and at patient bedside according to nephrology orders
+ Maintain current knowledge of operation procedures and maintenance of new equipment
+ Reprocess and disinfect hemodialysis equipment per policy and procedure
