Diesel Mechanic

We're looking for a qualified diesel mechanic to join our client's workshop in Central Hawkes Bay (there are also other opportunities elsewhere in the region, so please let us know where you’d prefer to be based). The role is predominantly workshop‑based, but there may also be some call‑out service work.

You’ll be involved in the diagnostics, service, and repair of various vehicles, including trucks, trailers and construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with workplace health and safety standards
• Maintain good working relationships with staff, clients and suppliers
• Perform standard diagnostics, servicing, and repairs of (mostly) commercial vehicles
• Dismantle and reassemble components
• Inspect engines and perform routine maintenance
