Direct Support Professional - Full and Part Time

Starting Pay: $18.00 - $20.00

Position Summary

The direct support professional provides day to day interactions, care and assistance for individuals served as outlined in each Ohio Individual Support Plan.

Essential Functions

• The Direct Support Professional at The Society will provide assistance, support and guidance in the following areas, as each site requires:
• Activities Of Daily Living (ADL’S)
• Promotes independence in domestic tasks (home chores, cleaning)
• Safety and security to ensure healthy living.
• Environmental cleanliness
• Personal care
• Transportation
• Community living and integration
• Upholding individual’s rights
