Doctoral positions in Launchers and Sustainability

Overview

Slice is a MSCA doctoral network comprising 17 PhD researchers who investigate the impact of space launches on climate and the environment.

Opportunity

Applicants will have the chance to apply for doctoral positions focusing on Launchers and Sustainability.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for admission to EPFL’s doctoral school, or already admitted through one of the programs, such as EDMX.

Positions

• End‑of‑life emissions of composite materials upon re‑entry – hosted by the LPAC lab of Prof. Véronique Michaud (EPFL).
• Analysis of a methodology for the global effects of launchers on the atmosphere and environment – hosted by the University of Stuttgart with secondment at the EPFL Space Center.
