he EFA Engineer provides technical leadership and engineering ownership for Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) supporting NPI, qualification builds, and high volume manufacturing (HVM).
This role is an advancement from the Technician position and is expected to demonstrate independent engineering judgment, supervisory leadership, and cross functional influence. In addition to owning complex FA investigations and maverick lot disposition triggered by the Statistical Bin Limit (SBL) system, the engineer ensures FA readiness for new products, including tooling, kits, and capability assessments aligned with APTD knowledge transfer. The PFA/EFA Engineer acts as the technical focal point across shifts, ensuring analysis quality, consistency, and timely decision making while driving systemic improvements to reduce recurring SBL events.
