To be the lead officer for a designated number of complex SEND cases including:
- To manage, facilitate and co-ordinate statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessments and Short Break assessments for children and young people with SEND, 0-25 years old.
- To draft statutory Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP) for children and young people with special educational needs
- To facilitate and co-coordinate the statutory annual review process for EHCPs and Short Breaks where it is deemed necessary
- To ensure that children and young people have appropriate support, resources and placements in schools or other educational and short break settings, to enable them to achieve positive learning and identified developmental outcomes.
