EHS Engineer (Tijuana)

Responsabilidades

• Develops, implements and manages site health, safety and environmental programs as appropriate
• Management of Respirator Program, Hearing Conservation Program and other EH&S Programs as applicable, according to NOM
• Works with other departments such as HR and Facilities to help develop and deliver employee health, safety and environmental training programs
• Must be able to manage Environmental compliance requirements for hazardous waste, hazardous materials, air emissions and waste water
• Recognizes, identifies, evaluates and controls chemical and physical hazards in the workplace and ensures compliance to Mexico regulations (NOMs) as well as company EH&S; standards. This includes the coordination and evaluation of chemical, noise and other employee exposure monitoring programs (industrial hygiene), interpretation of results and the implementation of recommended best practices to lower risk to employees
