Overview
The EHS Manager is responsible for leading all Environmental, Health, and Safety activities on-site for a major construction project. This role ensures full compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and project‑specific EHS expectations. The EHS Manager serves as the primary safety leader for the contractor and oversees all EHS personnel assigned to the project.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the on‑site, full‑time EHS Manager for the project, beginning prior to mobilization.
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the project’s EHS program.
Oversee and coordinate the work of all Contractor and Trade Partner EHS Professionals.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
