Job Description:
- Design electrical systems, including 3D wiring and 2D schematics
- Develop wiring harness designs using 3D CAD and schematic tools
- Integrate electrical components into overall system designs
- Evaluate project scope and manage timelines to ensure delivery
- Prepare and maintain bills of materials and related 3D assemblies
- Manage product data within PDM systems (e.g. Teamcenter)
- Ensure all designs comply with supplier and regulatory requirements
- Design with a focus on cost efficiency, ease of installation, and serviceability
- Conduct concept and design reviews to validate solutions
- Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders on design requirements
