Electrical Engineer/Designer - Setting and Studies

Role

Reporting to a Senior Engineer, the role of Settings & Studies Engineer is designing protection and control schemes in electrical facilities for the Transmission and Distribution, Power generation, Industrial and Renewables sectors. P&C Engineer will apply their knowledge and experience to analyze, evaluate, and create new designs and drawings and revise existing designs and drawings with guidance from senior engineering personnel, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with Protection and Control philosophies, schemes, and standards
• Apply knowledge of components, arrangements, and standards to complete design packages for substations that include, but are not limited to, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials
• Working knowledge of MathCAD, Microsoft Office, Aspen Oneliner and CAPE
• Excellent knowledge of modern digital protective relays in utility applications and experience calculating relay settings ...
