Job description
The electrical supervisor is responsible for all electrical installation activities on site. He is responsible for planning, coordinating and leading the installation of the electrical scope of project on site. He will report to the Construction Manager and lead a team of supervisors and electricians. The electrical scope of a hydro‑electric power project will include turbine and generator (T&G) instrumentation, protections & controls and distribution equipment.
Responsibilities
During the preparation and planning phase – In the office (10% of the time)
- Review and understand the design and the installation scope of work
- Prepare the electrical installation plan:
- Finalize man‑hours estimate
- Validate/prepares the quantities for the specified materials
