Overview
Location: Berkeley, Gloucester
Project Overview: We are seeking experienced LV Cable Installers / Electricians for work on a new build 132kV substation project in Berkeley, Gloucester.
This is a dead working environment only as the site is not yet energised, therefore no special authorisations are required.
Responsibilities
- Installation of LV and multicore SWA cables
- Glanding and terminating SWA cables
- Testing and inspection of installed cables
- Installation of cable containment systems including Tray, Conduit, Ladder rack
- Working safely within a substation construction environment
Requirements
- ECS Card essential
- Previous experience with LV and SWA cable installation
- Experience working within industrial, utilities, energy, or substation environments
- Ability to read and work from drawings
