Electrician (Near Surface Portal)
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
:Reporting to the Electrical General Supervisor, you will be part of the Near Surface Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Complete work in accordance with Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC), CSA-Z462 Standards, standard operating procedures, and best practices;
Install and terminate 15kv, 5kv 600-volt power distribution;
Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and blueprints;
Conduct preventative maintenance programs on electrical equipment and record results and findings;
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment such as power distribution, ventilation, leaky feeder communication, central blast line systems, jumbos, bolters and diamond drills;
