Position Summary:
Works under general supervision and is responsible for work output. On a production basis, performs electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work. Semi-repetitive to repetitive-type work. May make simple decisions but must generally follow well established precedents.
Responsibilities:
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Good understanding of ESD controls, resistance welding, working under microscopes, soldering, epoxy mixing, bonding, assembly and packaging techniques, as well as handling of classified assemblies.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Working under the microscopes for long periods of time;
Handling of small parts and piezoelectric crystals;
Intermediate cable harness and PCB assembly techniques;
