Conduct daily cleaning of worktables, scope reprocessing machines (AER), flushing pumps, and leak testers. Prepare scopes for procedure rooms by checking listings and ensuring readiness. Inspect and perform leak testing and manual cleaning on dirty scopes before reprocessing. Load scopes into the AER and initiate the reprocessing cycle. Perform evaluations using AER test indicators and ensure proper drying and storage of scopes. Manage inventory of high-level disinfectants and endoscopes, including tracking micro surveillance scopes. Report any faulty scopes or machines to the nurse in charge.
