Scope of Role Battery Pack, Battery Systems Engineering, powertrain integration, Energy storage system Area of Responsibility The Lead Engineer – Energy Storage Systems is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end engineering and development of automotive energy storage commodities (battery packs, battery systems, related subsystems) within the powertrain domain. The role covers the complete product lifecycle from Kick‑Off (KO) to Start of Production (SOP), ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, cost, quality, and timing adherence. Should have an ability to conduct benchmarking studies and propose innovative solutions.
