The ABS Global Electrification Center in Singapore advances technology development for maritime electrification. Working with technology centers across the region and globally, the team supports ABS’ mission through the development and application of Classification Rules, Guides, Products, and Services for existing and new assets.

We are seeking an engineer with strong maritime industry experience to support R&D projects focused on vessel performance modeling and simulation for electrified and hybrid maritime assets. This role applies simulation tools, systems thinking, and engineering judgment within a classification society environment, supporting design assessment, technology evaluation, rule development, and class-related services.
