Key Responsibilities  
1. Product & Process Engineering  
Lead design, development, and validation of auto components manufactured through MFPD / press forming processes 
Ensure feasibility of designs with respect to tooling, dies, material selection, and press capacity 
Drive DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and Control Plans 
Support new product development from concept to SOP 
2. Tooling & Die Development  
Oversee die design, die trials, and die optimization 
Coordinate with tool room, die makers, and external vendors 
Ensure reduction in die try-outs, rework, and downtime 
3. Manufacturing Support & Process Improvement  
Optimize press shop processes for productivity, yield, and cycle time 
Drive cost reduction, scrap reduction, and efficiency improvement initiatives 
Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma practices
