The primary role of Maintenance Lead is to direct and guide area engineers and maintenance technicians, so the team can perform their work assignments efficiently and in a safe manner. This includes ensuring technicians have the required training and skills to perform work that meets all appropriate standards.
Maintenance Lead is also responsible for ensuring that the uptime of equipment and assets is adequate to meet production plans. They contribute to improvement initiatives by continuously improving maintenance procedures and technology.
The Maintenance Lead role will focus on elimination of breakdowns and maintenance of basic conditions through use of Focused Improvement and Quality improvement methods including implementation of countermeasures that simplify processes, utilize predictive / preventative maintenance effectively and introduce increased automation and control...
