Summary You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NAVAL ARCHITECTURE) in the Submarine Structural Branch (255), Engineering Division, Engineering and Planning Department of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will provide engineering design services for structural and foundation work for construction, alteration, conversion, repair and inactivation of naval nuclear submarines. You will prepare test procedures. You will work the most complex and significant engineering tasks assigned to the SUBSAFE Hull Section. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
