Job Summary
Provides leadership within the Environmental Services (EVS) department providing activities to assure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations. Responsible for a variety of environmental services duties, follows special healthcare cleaning techniques as required, and trains staff as needed. Ensures a professional and appropriate service standard while performing the job. Follows system-wide standards as well as department specific service standards. Responsible for ensuring the very best patient/family/ customer experience by optimizing all customer interactions. Fosters a positive work environment through mutual support and cooperation and adheres to service standards.

+ Schedules breaks and lunches daily for all assigned staff.
+ Utilizes the staff schedule to plan for sufficient daily staffing.
+ Coordinates with the Supervisor and or Manager and Director as necessary.
