The Role
The Environmental Technician will carry out sampling of waste materials, mainly spoil and tarmac, to ensure Anglian Water complies with the Streetworks Protocol. You will also support sampling on small capital works outside the protocol and provide guidance on waste handling when needed.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new role within a forward thinking team, supporting high quality delivery, strong regulatory relationships, and responsible environmental practice. Your will travel throughout the Anglian Water region including Lincoln, Grantham and Peterborough.

These are just some of the activities you’ll be involved with:
Collect and record soil and asphalt samples from small excavations across the region

Send samples to approved laboratories and upload findings to internal systems

Check compliance with the Streetworks Protocol through site audits and sample assessments
