Responsibilities:
Development and adherence to specific and point of work health & safety risk assessments
Rapid response to environmental incidents in a variety of urban and rural settings
Pro-active assessment of pollution risks to the environment and the application of a variety of in-situ techniques for containing and recovering oils or other contaminants of concern
Environmental monitoring and sampling activities
Self-confident liaison with client and co-contractors in determining a most appropriate technical response to environmental incidents
Liaison with technical and managerial support regarding all incidents/projects
Effective information management and report writing
Waste management and Duty of Care
