Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Application System Manager, provide analysis and programming to assist in the selection, implementation and ongoing support of application software including all interfaces necessary to assure a high value, widely accessible, comprehensive, integrated information network which meets customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Orient and train new employees; schedule assigned employees; provide guidance and counsel to employees; provide input to performance appraisal. On a project basis may provide functional supervision of Application System Analysts.
Meet with personnel from user departments Information Services staff and vendors, to define and resolve application system problems.
Analyze problems and determine most efficient and economical programming solution.
Develop specifications for software applications; design, code, test, debug, document and install software...
