Reporting to the Site Foreman, or their designate, the Equipment Operator is responsible for operating machinery on utility (electrical and civil) construction sites, with a primary focus on rubber‑tire backhoes and mini excavators. They will work closely with tradespersons, coordinators, managers, and site superintendent personnel to support project milestones and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and effectively.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Safely operate equipment in the installation of Underground Utilities
+ Operate equipment in residential areas
+ Responsible for the safe operation and basic maintenance of the organization's equipment
