EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST (Title 32)

Summary THIS IS A TITLE 32 DUAL STATUS POSITION This is an indefinite position that may convert to permanent without further competition. DUTY LOCATION: Surface Maintenance Office (SMO), Windsor Locks, CT AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION: Area 1: All currently employed full-time permanent and indefinite personnel of the Connecticut Army National Guard. Area 2: All currently employed full-time temporary technician personnel and all current traditional members of the Connecticut Army National Guard. Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to provide instruction and assistance to state unit personnel regarding Army National Guard (ARNG) equipment and maintenance management. Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methods of equipment maintenance and management of a variety of ARNG equipment is required. NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.
