Estimator and Inside Sales Engineer

Perform estimating and inside sales activities for electrical power equipment field engineering services and testing scope of work. Projects involve low, medium and high voltage power systems. This position will be hybrid dividing the workweek between working from the office and remotely. The AEC Canada Inc. position requires limited supervision and will be based in Montreal Canada.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to customers bid requests and internal requests from AEC
• Research on-line bid opportunities
• Analyze and interpret electrical blueprints, specifications and addendums
• Clarify electrical testing scope of work with customer estimators, project managers and engineers of record
• Obtain pricing from vendors for equipment repairs, parts and other AEC departments
• Prepare computer-based estimates
• Participate in bid strategy meeting as requested
