Estimator Position Summary The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects. This includes evaluating the full scope of work, such as labour, equipment, materials, subcontractor services, and purchased components. The role ensures all tender submissions are completed accurately and delivered within required deadlines. Key Responsibilities Estimating and Tendering Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand project scope and requirements. Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and contract documents. Develop comprehensive cost estimates, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor inputs. Solicit, evaluate, and incorporate subcontractor and supplier quotations into estimates. Prepare and submit complete tender packages within specified deadlines.
