Our marine client is seeking to add an Estimator to their skilled team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a specialist marine services company in a full time permanent position, and the successful candidate can work from Aberdeen or Greenock.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
* Proven experience in custom price building for dry dock work.
* Ability to interpret job specifications and translate them into accurate resource requirements and project timelines.
* Background in steelworks or mechanical engineering is preferred.
* Experience working within the marine and oil & gas industries, with rig experience being highly desirable.
* Previous hands-on welding/fabrication experience (desirable)
* Demonstrated experience in carrying out technical surveys.
* Competent in developing planners and work programmes.
* Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal operational teams.
