AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY / BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES
- Thoroughly analyze project drawings and specifications to develop accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQs).
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates using industry-standard software and tools.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for various project components.
- Conduct site visits to gather essential information for accurate estimation.
- Maintain a cost database for efficient analysis and reporting.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in a related field (Civil/Architectural Engineering)
- Proven track record of successfully completing major projects with reputable clients
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in joinery/fit out in a well-established organization
- At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position in the UAE
